NCAA and ESPN Reach Deal That Brings DI Outdoor Track & Field to New Network
INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA has agreed to a $500 million deal with ESPN to broadcast the championships in many of its sports through the 2023-24 school year, including outdoor track & field. ESPN has been the rights holder for DI indoor track & field for many years and that will continue with the new agreement.

INDIANAPOLIS - Ryan Bak (Bend, Ore.) has been named USA Track & Field’s Athlete of the Week after running his debut road marathon at the California International Marathon in 2:14:17 as the top American finisher.
ASBA Honors Distinguished Running Track Facilities for 2011
The ASBA, founded in 1965, is a non-profit association focused on professionalizing the process of developing, designing and building sports facilities. Their Technical Meetings, which I have attended since 1991, are one of my favorite convention and trade shows each and every year. These folks build the sports sanctuaries across the country.
