NEW ORLEANS – The NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championship will begin this weekend with preliminary rounds being held in Austin, Texas (west site) and Jacksonville, Fla. (east site), Thursday through Saturday. Based on entries for the championships, the latest USTFCCCA National Team Computer Rankings have been released and Texas A&M’s men and LSU’s women remain the No. 1 teams in the country.

wtccenter.pngDemonstrating it's continuing efforts to grow Throwing and Track & Field in America the World Throws Center is proud to announce the John Godina Summer Throws Camps at BOTH Sac State in Sacramento, CA and Tiffin University, in Tiffin, Ohio.
 
This year's camp at Sac State will be held July 2th to July 6th and the Tiffin, Ohio camp will be held July 9th to July 13th.

NEW ORLEANS – Freshman Octavious Freeman of UCF returns to The Bowerman Women’s Watch List the award’s watch list committee announced on Thursday. Freeman returns to the grand list of ten vying for the top award in collegiate track & field after tallying some of the best performances in the world this year in the 100 and 200 meters. This is Freeman’s second appearance on the watch list this season.

NEW ORLEANS – We are coming off the turn and heading down the homestretch of the 2012 collegiate track & field season. Outdoor conference and national championships are yet to be claimed, but the race for The Bowerman – the honor of top collegiate track & field athlete of the season – is heating up and still very much up for grabs.
