Minneapolis/St. Paul – March 27, 2018 – FASTZach, a distance-based mobile app that generates routes in seconds for runners, walkers, hikers and travelers, has become a bronze sponsor and official training app of the Team USA Minnesota Distance Training Center.  The app is free at www.FASTZach.com and available on iOS and Android with the ability to create routes in over 50 countries, including the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Two-time NCAA Champion one of four middle-distance standouts added to roster - ATLANTA – January 17, 2018 -- Two-time NCAA champion Edward Kemboi has joined Atlanta Track Club’s roster of professional athletes. Kemboi, who won the 800m at both the 2015 NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Championships made his 800m debut in an Atlanta Track Club/Mizuno uniform last weekend at the Orange and Purple Classic at Clemson University where he won in 1:49.15.

Minneapolis/St. Paul – Sept. 26, 2017 – Six Team USA Minnesota distance runners – Meghan Peyton, Jon Peterson, Rob Molke, Tyler Jermann, Kevin Lewis and Ryan Rutherford - will be among the competitors at the USATF 10 Mile Championships hosted by the Medtronic TC 10 Mile on Oct. 1.  The day before, on Sept. 30, two athletes from the team – Danny Docherty and Breanna Sieracki - will run in the TC 5k presented by Fredrikson & Byron.

Minneapolis/St. Paul – July 25, 2017 – Team USA Minnesota’s Heather Kampf will compete at the GNC Live Well Liberty Mile in Pittsburgh on July 28, while Kevin Lewis and Danny Docherty head to Davenport, Iowa, to run in the USA Track & Field 7 Mile Road Championships hosted by the Quad-City Times Bix 7 on July 29.

Minneapolis/St. Paul –June 20, 2017 – Team USA Minnesota’s Heather Kampf, Jamie Cheever, Meghan Peyton and Kevin Lewis will be among the athletes who will compete at the USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships, which will be held June 22-25 at Sacramento State’s Hornet Stadium.

Minneapolis/St. Paul – May 30, 2017 – Team USA Minnesota’s Ryan Rutherford and Kevin Lewis finished in first and second place at the annual Brian Kraft Memorial 5k at Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis on May 29.  Rutherford crossed the line in 14:15, which was a course record, and Lewis was right behind in 14:18.

PITTSBURGH -- The USA Track & Field Foundation Chairman Bob Greifeld and Executive Director Tom Jackovic announced today it has awarded 32 Youth Club Grants to track & field clubs throughout the country. The grants assist young male and female athletes with expenses such as travel to meets, equipment, uniforms and facility rental.

Minneapolis/St. Paul – March 15, 2017 – Grandma’s Marathon, which will host its 41st annual weekend of running events in Duluth on June 15-17, has become a bronze sponsor of the Team USA Minnesota Distance Training Center.  As part of the sponsorship, the Grandma’s Marathon organization will also provide Team USA Minnesota with 10 entries to the sold-out Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon to use as a fundraiser.

Minneapolis/St. Paul – March 7, 2017 – Five Team USA Minnesota distance runners – Meghan Peyton, Jon Peterson, Rob Molke, Kevin Lewis and Ryan Rutherford – will be among the deep field of competitors at the USATF 15k Championships in Jacksonville on March 11.  The championships will be run in conjunction with the 40th annual Gate River Run which will have some 20,000 participants.

(Feb. 28, 2017) — HOKA ONE ONE®, a division of Deckers Brands (NYSE: DECK), has partnered with the Aggies Running Club through 2021. Founded in 1976 and based in Northern and Central California, the all-comers club consists of open, masters and social divisions. Elite runners meeting certain time standards are eligible for the Aggies’ Olympic Development Program. The Aggies are part of the Pacific Association of USA Track & Field.
