U.S. Olympians Des Linden and Jared Ward to highlight star-studded American contingent in open division that features numerous U.S. Olympic team contenders;17-time Paralympic medalist and NYRR Team for Kids Ambassador Tatyana McFadden to chase record sixth career title in professional wheelchair division

Fauble, Bennie and Kieffer Add to Strong American Contingent for 47th running of the Cape Cod Classic - FALMOUTH, MA (August 8, 2019)—Stephen Sambu of Kenya and Leonard Korir of the U.S., who together staged an epic battle to the finish line in 2017, and Americans Sara Hall and Des Linden will return for the 47th running of the New Balance Falmouth Road Race, organizers announced today.

CHICAGO, Ill. (July 21, 2019) – Nearly 13,000 registered runners from age 12 to 81 took to the streets of the Windy City this weekend to participate in the 11th running of the Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Chicago Half Marathon. With a renewed focus on the core pillars of great music in a community environment, runners of all athletic levels enjoyed the sights and sounds of Chicago.

Four world-class Ethiopian runners have set their sights on breaking the recent Kenyan dominance when the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON takes place on September 29: Guye Adola, who finished second in an unofficial world record debut two years ago in Berlin, as well as Leul Gebrselassie, Sisay Lemma and Birhanu Legese all possess the potential to win the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON. Gebrselassie, Lemma and Legese have each triumphed over the marathon distance in the past ten months, running top-class times and all have personal bests in the region of 2:04.

USATF is pleased to announce that the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), granted its request to extend the conditions for granting a Gold Label for 2020 Olympic Trials – Marathon men’s and women’s qualification - on an exceptional basis.

The Diamond League series continues in London, where reigning European 100m champion Dina Asher-Smith will headline a star-studded women’s sprint field in front of a home crowd. Given the proximity of the event to the upcoming USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships, most top American athletes are expected to skip this stop on the circuit.

The provisional entry lists for the tenth meeting of the 2019 IAAF Diamond League, in London on 20-21 July, are now available.

AMES, Iowa -- Masters athletes ages 30-96 broke seven world record and 13 American records over four days of competition at Bill and Karen Bergan Track at the Cyclone Sports Complex on the campus of Iowa State University. 

2018 USATF Marathon National Champions Emma Bates and Brogan Austin Join Previously Announced Jordan Hasay and Galen Rupp at the Top of the U.S. Field -  CHICAGO – The Bank of America Chicago Marathon announced today that a strong field of American runners will join previously announced superstars Galen Rupp and Jordan Hasay at the front of the field in Grant Park on October 13. This year’s field includes reigning USATF marathon national champions Emma Bates and Brogan Austin, and five U.S. women with personal records (PRs) faster than 2:30 (including two of the top 10 fastest women in U.S. history).

Ames, IA -- The USATF Masters Outdoor Track & Field Championships are set to begin at Iowa State University Thursday through Sunday, July 11-14. The world’s best athletes ranging from 30 to 96 years of age are among the more than 900 athletes competing at ISU’s Cyclone Sports Complex.
